Greetings of the day!

In reference to the previous mail regarding Indus Quiz Contest format; please find herewith the rules and regulations for modus-operandi in regard to the contest. 

Rules and Regulations

1.    The quiz contest is open to all the students.


2.    The format of quiz contest includes written and oral both.


3.    The written part of quiz is linked with your performances including first and second mid-term examinations.


4.    The eligibility criteria are to score minimum 60% marks till second mid-term examinations, along with no backlog. Students scored 60% marks and no backlog will automatically be registered for the quiz, thus, students hereby are informed to update their What’app number and Email Address in Training & Placement Cell, shortlisted candidates will be notified at their email addresses and what’s app numbers supplied.      


5.    Only shortlisted candidates will contest for the second round which is an oral round of the contest.         


6.    In second round, the questions will be in form of multiple choice based on General Knowledge, Current Affairs and English


7.    After the team done/nominated, replacement of contestants in the oral round will not be allowed


8.    The oral round will be fought among the teams, the teams may comprise of 2-3 members depending upon the performance of students in the mid-term examination.


9.    Teams selected for the final rounds will be allowed to give themselves names an appropriate name related to the competition by which they may want to be known.


10. For the oral round, the decision of quiz-masters/jury will be final and will not be subjected to change


11. The contest will have 3 teams as Winner, First Runner Up and Second Runner Up. The winning amount worth Rs. 70000/- will be distributed among the Winner and Runner Up teams along with the Trophies.


12. The break-ups of winning amount is as follows; the winner team would receive the cheque worth Rs. 35000/-, the first runner up team would receive the cheque worth Rs. 20000 and the second runner up team would receive the cheque worth Rs. 15000.


13. Certification of Participation will be given to the shortlisted candidates of oral round only.


14. The winning teams will be given a speech as final topic of presentation, the topic of which will be announced 1 week before the final day of contest.


15. The date of final round of contest is April 08, 2017.
